Volunteers Needed to Serve on City Boards

The City of Guthrie has several boards and commissions comprised of dedicated volunteers who advise the City Council on a variety of matters. The City is currently accepting applications for openings or pending openings on the following boards:

Forestry Advisory Board – The Forestry Advisory Board advises City Council on issues regarding the development of a community forestry plan and improvement of the urban forest resources within the City. The Forestry Advisory Board meetings are held bimonthly on the 4th Tuesday at 6:30 pm. For requirements and an application, click here.

ADA Advisory Committee- The Guthrie City Council established the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Advisory Committee October of 2017 to serve the City as an advisory resource on all matters as it relates to Title II of the ADA.
The City of Guthrie is now accepting applications to serve on its newly formed ADA Advisory Committee. Meeting times will be held on a designated day and time on a monthly basis, and will be coordinated based on schedule of new board members. Apply today!
