Get Fit Guthrie has been created as a partnership between The City of Guthrie, Guthrie Chamber of Commerce, Logan County Health Department, Logan County United Way, Logan Medical Center and many others...
The purpose behind Get Fit Guthrie is to create support for individuals to live a healthier lifestyle. Former City Manager Matt Mueller and Former Mayor Mick Cornett have a conversation describing what Get Fit Guthrie is all about in this video.

The City of Guthrie kicked off the New Year by holding the first Get Fit Guthrie Expo in January at Guthrie City Hall. This event was held on January 11th to kick off the 2011 year for the purpose of promoting health and wellness in the community.
The expo featured health and wellness information from local businesses as well as presentations by a certified personal trainer and a nutritionist. Organizations designed to promote fitness put up booths to offer information on healthy eating, give away free healthy products, educate on individual fitness programs and to sign up participants for fitness events throughout the year.
