Building Design Standards
The City of Guthrie’s Building Design Standards ordinance was developed to provide design guidance for construction projects undertaken in the City. The goal is to promote the improved aesthetic and functional quality of the community as a whole. The standards apply to commercial and residential construction projects in all areas of the City and supports the implementation of community-wide goals which are defined in the City’s Comprehensive Plan.

Nuisance Abatement
The Code Enforcement Department manages all nuisance abatement issues including accumulation of trash, high grass and weeds, dilapidated buildings, and abandoned vehicles.

To report a Code Enforcement issue:

• Call the Code Enforcement office at (405) 282-1110
• Fill out and return the Citizen Concern Form
• Email Code Enforcement

Residential Assistance
If you require financial assistance to help with your home repairs and maintenance, email the Neighborhood Solutions Office or call them at (405) 282-0880. Funds may be available in the form of grants or low-interest loans for those who are eligible. Financial counseling is also available.
