Overview

The City of Guthrie elects a Mayor at-large in a non-partisan race. The Mayor serves a two-year term while Council members serve four-year terms. Every two years, four seats on the seven-member Council are open for election.

To schedule an appointment with the Mayor, contact the City Manager's Executive Assistant.

Reporting Concerns

• Any citizen having a concern related to personnel or projects should contact the appropriate department or utilize the Report a Concern feature first.
• If the matter is not handled satisfactorily, contact the Department Head, next followed by the City Manager's Office.

It is a violation of the City's Charter (PDF) for the Mayor or any Council member to engage in administrative activities, including directing personnel other than the City Manager.
