Message From the Chief

On behalf of the personnel of the Guthrie Fire-EMS Department, I welcome you to our site. Here you can find information pertaining to our department and the services we provide.

The department was founded in 1889. It has grown and evolved in many ways over the years. We pride ourselves on being compassionate and professional in the delivery of our services. Our department provides fire suppression, public education, fire investigation, rescue, and emergency medical services (EMS) to over 500 square miles of Logan County. This area is one of the fastest-growing residential regions of the entire state. As this area grows, so does our emergency call volume. Our call volume has doubled in the last five years. We strive to meet this ever-growing demand for services as efficiently as possible, using the most up-to-date methods available.

I am honored to serve as the Guthrie Fire Chief. I was born and raised in Guthrie and graduated from Guthrie High School in 2006. After high school, I attended OSU-OKC to obtain my certifications. I started my career at GFD in 2009. I am grateful to be invested in this town. Serving the citizens of Guthrie has allowed me to give back to the community that has provided me with so much throughout my life. I am excited to be a part of Team Guthrie and continue to grow the department into a place our personnel need and most importantly, our citizens deserve.

We are here for you, around the county, around the clock. Please contact us with anything you may need. We will do our best to accommodate.
