On behalf of the men and women of the Guthrie Fire-EMS Department, I welcome you to our site. Here you can find information pertaining to our department and the services we provide.

The Guthrie Fire-EMS Department was founded in 1889 as Guthrie sprang up overnight during the Land Run of 1889. Throughout the years, we have endured many challenges and technological changes. We pride ourselves on being caring, compassionate and professional in the delivery of our services. Our department provides fire suppression, public education, fire investigation, rescue and emergency medical service (EMS) to over 450 square miles of Logan County. This area is one of the fastest growing residential regions of the entire state. As this area grows, so does our emergency call volume. We strive to meet this ever-growing demand for services as efficiently as possible, using the most up-to-date methods available.
