Guthrie Tourism Department is solely funded by 2/3 of hotel/motel tax collected within Guthrie City Limits and exists for the purpose of promoting Guthrie as a tourist destination.
The department has one full-time Director, Justin Fortney, who works under the direction of City Manager Eddie Faulkner, and through input by the Convention and Visitor Bureau Advisory Board. The Tourism Department includes Missy Hancock, Tourism Coordinator and Assistant, and Aaron Ryburn, Media/IT Coordinator
